Which is more easy to take care of, cleans the bottoms of the tank, doesnt cause the ammonia level to rise because of waste: A snail or a ghost shrimp? I have three danios and a betta. Which is more compatible? Any other siggestions to remove all the flakes at the bottom of the tank?

Thanks
Selena
If I was you I would go with snails, but you know that's cause I'm a snail freak crazy.gif

Are ghost shrimp as messy as snails???

I good botton feeder are cories. They go with danios, not sure about bettas. I had a couple of cories when I had my tropical tank and they do a good job eating all the fallen food. I called them Les & George The Cleaners lol.GIF

I'd go with the snails, had an ailing goldie once and the ghost shrimp dragged him across the stones sad.gif I was so upset that I removed him immediately from the tank and put him in a container. Snails are pretty clean, I also had an albino cory they are the sweetest things, he did a good job cleaning the bottom.
