Hi, new here but will introduce self a later date. I have got 3 Oranda's (first time). Two males, one female. They are in a 30 gallon tank (too small?). Anyway, they have started mating behaviour but a little concerned. This has been going on for about 6 hours with both males chasing the female. Has read some posts but still want to know how long this will continue for, whether I should seperate them if it goes on for too long and as not intending to breed can I just leave the eggs to be eaten by them?

Thanks in advance.

sometimes it goes on for a long time. if the female looks too tired or battered, id take her out and give her a rest. you can leave the eggs in there and the fish will happily eat them. they like a bit of caviar! rofl3.gif good luck. hope she doesnt get too beaten up!
