Is it okay if I put a snail in my 10 gallon tank with my betta and my three danios? Or will the snail will be eaten? What snail would be compatible? Or should I get a ghost shrimp, I really want to remove all the flakes at the bottom of the tank? Any Suggestions???

Thank you

In my opinion, it depends on the betta. I had 1 betta that attacked a small snail...flaring and hittting it...and I had another betta that couldn't care less. If your betta isn't too aggresive tword the danios then I'd bet that he wouldn't bother a snail. A betta might go after the snails little antanae, thinking it's a worm or something! Bettas go crazy for live food and might get a little excited about the possibility. But the snails always learn to be careful.

A snail would probably be just fine. Mine looks at them but never bothers them.

Personaly if you have flakes on the bottom of your tank, your feeding your betta and danios to much. A snail would be okay.
