My fish have been acting a little weird the past couple days and now the 2 males are chasing the female. Shes laying eggs everywhere and im gonna have a hard time getting them all out but thats a different story. My question is how long will she lay the eggs for and when does the male umm spray his milt?

the female will usually lay her eggs for about an hourish, give or take half an hour. the male will spray his milt as soon as the eggs come out of the female. good luck smile.gif

Ok thanks smile.gif I just wanted to make sure they had a chance to get fertilized before I took them out... which was hard. Most of them stuck to the gravel not the plants

have fun with your eggs, happy goldfishing. =p

Thanks biggrin.gif

Sometime either late last night or early this morning around 15 hatched. I was away all weekend and was hoping none would hatch without me and they were so nice they waited till I got back smile.gif. I was surprised to find that atleast 2 eggs were in my tank long enough to hatch and not get eaten. I have 3 fish and 2 snails in there, but this morning I saw them swimming around the tank.
