i noticed a little white spot on my oldest fish the other day can anyone tell me what it is?
any help at all would be nice...

It's really hard to see in that picture. Is that a lump on it's stomach or the actual fish? Does that white spot seem to blend in with the fishy's skin or is it sort of fuzzy or raised?

it's just a white spot on his belly like the scales just stop there

I agree, it's hard to see.

If it doesn't look waxy, slimy, or cottony, maybe it is just a white spot? Maybe the fish is changing colour. Do you suppose it could be that? Colour change can come on very quickly. And I've noticed in my experience that red fish often get white patches, and red and white fish often turn all white. My own Whitie Snowflake started off red. And so did chubby.
