Oliver passed away sometime this morning. I have no idea why. For the past week he hasnt been able to get around, so I new he was sick so a seperated him in his own bowl. He was still coming out of his shell but couldnt move and he couldnt sit up right. He would just lay on his side. I had to put his food near his foot so he could reach it. Does anyone here know what may have caused his illness. All my other snails are fine and the ph and water parms are fine

That sounds like what happened to my gold. He had mantle collapse and couldn't get out of his shell. When I was considering euthinization, he died. The mantle is the fleshy part that basically separates the stuff inside the shell from the stuff outside of it (their head, etc.). It can collapse inside and usually leads to death.

I'm very sorry about Oliver. It's sad to lose a snail.
