I am in the planning process and looking for plants to use.
The theme I am going with is Roman/Greek pillars, statues etc.
It’s a 25 Gallon tank, water temp is a constant 18 Celsius, PH of 8.

My fish plans are 1 Shubunkin, 1 Lionhead and Some White Clouds (I think)

I am looking for plans to fit in with my theme, aswel as the fish..

What kind of lighting do you have?

Its a 20W tube with reflector.. The tank is a Rekord 96

That is pretty low light for live plants, but I would try java moss, java fern or anubias. They can grow under low light conditions. They are all plants that are not grown rooted in the substrate, but are attached to either rocks or bogwood. Also, they are not eaten by goldfish.

I know the reflector is suppose to increase the light, can lights be upgraded to higher watts or am i limited to 20 watts period, i suppose i will investigate. I would like plants to enhance my theme, and be suitable for my intended fish. I do plan to increase the temp to 22c.

yes you can get plant glow fluorecent lights and higher wattage lights

if you do get higher wattage lights... llike 2-3 watts pe gallon a nice plant to go with IMO is the amazon sword, some anubias (doesnt need high) some banana plant you cuold actually go wild if you want... the goldfish may eat them but they should grow back quick enough not to dissapear:)

I am gonna start from scratch soon, same idea but looking for suggestions for gravel alternatives, suitable for a greek/roman theme, and ideas to raise sections, for example i have seen what looks like stacked slate..
