As some of us are breeders I think It'll be nice to list the reccessive traits that we find, as the other day when checking my pearlscale-eggfish crossed frys I find that all of them has dorsal fins. And just as a note I think we should list the outcomes of the traits in our frys to improve our breeder's experience/knowledge. And perhaps this topic will sink to the bottom, Most Unfortunate cry3.gif I hope you guys can refer back into this topic.

But the preference in noting the trait on recessive/dominant is to list out how many frys you have do have the trait and how many don't, then include a conclusion when possible for example I will be first to list on this topic:

pearlscale cross egg-fish

16 frys (I came a bit late)
16 with dorsal fins
0 Unknown

And as for now I'll need to list the numbers with pearls later on as the fry's developement are still underway. And I beleive the gene for dorsal fins are dominant

as so the post should be

Types Of GFs bred(we'll only know when breeding by breeder tank unless you have 2 mature and any numbers of Immature or not developed sexed GFs)

#of GFs with traits
#of GFs without
#of GFs which are too small to observe

Then conclusion

I like the idea too. I'm not sure who the parents of my fry are tho! I'm pretty sure the mom is a shubunkin, so I might be able to help on the single vs. double tail thing.

They're way too tiny to tell anything yet any way.

most of my fry's have developed the round pearlscale's body. I think it is safe to assume that the pearl scales are dominant. eggXhamanishiki(crowned pearl)
