is this healthy? is it okay to feed my GF with?
fugly
I wouldn't have thought it was ideal, TBH, too much carb and not enough of anything else.

I can't speak for the rest of the forum, but I tend to feed the following, so you might want to try some of them

boiled, skinned and chopped:
peas
courgette/zucchini
red pepper (but they weren't keen)
carrots (ditto)

mashed mackerel fillet (drain the oil off and freeze, then thaw it out before feeding)
chopped cooked prawns

Bought food:
fish flakes (it's best to soak them)
hikari staple (floating pellets)
freezedried tubifex, daphnia and brineshrimp
bloodworms in jelly
Fish delice in jelly (kind of like a commercial gel food)
catfish food (I feed it to the cats and the gf get there first)
algal wafers (ditto)

thanks my friend. :]

Goldfish don't process starchy foods very well. A diet that is high in starchy foods can cause constipation.
