Is this a suitable gravel cleaner for a tropical comunity tank with a male betta?

bettas are nosey when it comes to someone or something in the tank with them. i used a gravel cleaner with mine when he was in the community and whenever he came to investigate i put my finger over the out part of the vac to stop the flow until he swam away. so, yes you can get a vac, but make sure its big enough for the size of tank as you dont want to be there all day vacuuming. biggrin.gif

I guess you just check it out with a siphoning tube first. If you get used to your bettas habits with that and be really cautious go for it. Just be quicker than the fish for the fish's sake.
