I'm planning on breeding my red cap orandas and was wondering how yous would set up your breeding ponds .

how many ponds would you build, what depth would they be and what length would you make them (i've read that the length of the pond effects the development of short bodied fish) .

id use a shallowish but spread out design. then theres more surface are for gas exchange and the babies will have more oxygen then.
