I was just wondering if Apple snails and "Mystery snails" are the same thing. thanks!! smile.gif

also I've read on applesnail.net thet there are different species(groups, something like that) within the cana group,is this true? I might just be very confused about all this, so just straighten me out if i'm horibbly wrong!! anyway I was wondering if these can interbreed also?

yes apple snails and mystery snail are the same.. but mystery snail could be Pomacea Bridgesii or Pomacea Canniculata.. they look amlost identical (need alot of experience to tell the apart) but they are bothf rom the same family.. pomacea..

i dont think they can be interbred (did u mean crossbred?).. but they will mate with each other all the time..
