Hi all,

I have one female who is laying eggs. Apparently, three of the others are males - not displaying the little white turbicle thingys - but they're chasing her around the tank endlessly! I do recognize it as mating behavior; they're bumping her butt and what looks like nipping her sides and anal fins.

I'm worried, however, that it may cause poor Spot damage to be chased by the other three and never given a chance to relax. Can I move two of the males to another tank without causing them any harm? :crp

Any advice on this would be MOST appreciated!

Thanks,
Leaca

yeah, should be ok. its best moving them out. 3:1 ratios a bit too much on a girl! why do you think it would cause them harm?
have fun raising the babies and if you need any help, just ask biggrin.gif

LOL! I had no idea if the little fishboys could suffer "blueballs" or something. (hope that's not inappropriate. :X sorry if it is!!) Thank you so much for your comments; I'll move a couple of the guys to a bachelor pad for the next couple days.
