Ok. So I have a black moor that is a bit fat & a red cap oranda that seems to be thin. The past couple of days I have been looking around to figure out what sex they are. I figure that the moor is a girl & the red cap is a boy. They are both about 2 inches in length, minus the tail.
This morning, I woke to the red cap chasing & pushing the moor around. "He" pushes "her" sides a lot but not so much in the backside. I looked at the red cap's gil plates & fins but I didn't see any white spots. It got to the point that this afternoon, I seperated them because "her" fins are starting to get torn & "she" has scrapes on "her" body.
Is my red cap just plain ol' mean or does the moor have eggs?

(P.S. sorry for all the quotes! wink.gif )
