Well, I got my 10 gallon tank for my goldie so now I have this 2.5 gallon tank and I was thinking of getting either a betta or african dwarf frogs. Then I read a frog page that said they could live with one betta- is this true, is it a good idea, and would that be too many in a 2.5 tank (say 1 betta and 2 frogs maybe?) Opinions anyone?

I'm not in a hurry to get them yet but was just curious every time I'm at the petstore I think about what I want to put in there!

biggrin.gif Hi,although I have kept a pair of adf's with a betta in a 2.5 gal. tank before,I would probably advise against it.Most betta's seem to prefer the company of theirselves. The betta I had with them"tolerated the frogs",but he was much happier when I took the frogs out. You really need a bigger tank,so that you are able to create more "Hidey Holes",and use more plants to have it really work out ok. I'm certainly no expert-I am just going by the experience that I've had. wink.gif

Personaly afd's and bettas do great togther but i took them out because i got anoyed of the betta sometimes attacking the adf's also the frogs and the betta seems happier to be alone... smile.gif
