I"m thinking of trying gel food after reading all the posts here. I am wondering... would the bettas eat it as well? Does the gel sink? I've got an apple snail too and I'm sure he'd gobble it if it sank to the bottom. He's a living vacuum.

Mainly I'd make it for the orandas but if the others eat it as well, that's an added bonus! smile.gif I'm getting that you can basically mix together anything that they currently eat with the gelatin and you've got gel food....??

Thanks!

Yea... everyone loves gel. My tropicals, goldies and snails love it. My male betta used to eat it. He'd guard the cubes abd pull off pieces. smile.gif The betta would need a high protein version if that was his staple food.
