I just got a bunch of anarchis, the tank looks better, since there are more plants besides the bamboo. Look at pictures, i really like plants how about you?

Yin, it sure does! heartpump.gif Its amazing how a little bit of green can liven up a tank! I did the same thing today - after having such fun and success with a planted tropicals tank, I got anacharis, cabomba, some of my java fern and moss from the tropicals tank, and a huge madagaskar lace, and put it into my newly setup 55 gl tank with 3 baby telescopes in it. I figured, 3 eye handicapped fish can't do much damage! rofl2.gif
Are you planning on some more other kinds of plants?

Wow, and I just noticed how enormously the bamboo grows out of the tank. Boy, that is one big clump of plant. How tall is the bamboo now?

Yes, the anarchis makes it look much better, i tried to get some cryptocorynes , but they ran out sad.gif

Yeah, the bamboo does grow but not as fast as you think, we got it 2 years ago, it's grown like a few inches. It is currently 2 1/2 feet tall. I really like it how new sprouts or shoots just grow right out of the bottom. The shoots that are under water was not there before, it used to just be this stick with a few leaves, but the top has grown many sprouts and the bottom sprouts that are submerged, has grown by itself. And if it gets too tall, you can cut one in half and it will grow into 2 plants, the cut will grow new roots.

This one in the picture was cut from the main plant.

I'm glad that i'm not the only person that thinks that bamboo looks great smile.gif
