Ok i just put regular flourecents in m tank. Will these work for real plants

You have to tell us how large your tank is and how many watts of light you put on it.

Plants fall into different groupings depending on how much light they need.

Low light plants are generally .5-1.5 watts per gallon (though getting anything to grow at less than 1 is tricky)

Moderate is generally around 2-3 watts per gallon

High light is generally 3+ watts per gallon.

Depending on what your lighting is, we can tell you some plants that may work. Generally no matter what your setup, you will probably get java fern and java most and maybe some crypts to grow, but the crypts usually need a planted substrate not just plain gravel.
