I have 3 goldfish, I won them all at a fair this past summer. I know I have atleast 1 male and 1 female. The female has laid eggs twice now but neither of them have been ferterlized but the male has those little white dots. So could he be sterile? Or is he just still too young yet?

My guess would it he is still too young for breeding. I assume you have comets or commons (thats the favorite kind given away on fairs)...
How big is he?

Hes around 3 1/2 in. The female is a little bigger and the other one is just a little smaller then the male. Ive had some sort of fish my whole life and this was the first time they had ever laid eggs and i was so happy but of course the eggs are unferterlized just my luck...
