i got a snake skin male yellow with orange tail and a gray with black tail female i want some red solid colors can i get it out of them or do i need another female color??????

Unless you bought these two from an actual guppy breeder that knows their lineage and genetic backgrounds, there's no way of telling what colors you'll end up with. You might possibly get some red, but then you might not. Only way to find out is to let them breed and see what happens with the fry.

It really depends on the Mom and Dad of the fry...
My male guppy is a very bright orange and the female guppies are blue
i have blue/orange tailed guppies now.
But there color could simply change over time... I recommend getting a red solid colored guppy for better chances.

I agee with BO. Getting a red male will better increase your chances of getting red fry, since then you know he carries the genes for red.

thnkx! helps me a whole lot i have some fry form these two and its looks like they be gray but the problem i have is i have to get a female because this male is terrtoral he kill my other male he clames the tank!! i never had one to do that but this one did it.

It will take some time to see there true color my fry which are about 6 months are just getting there color
