I cut some trees down over the weekend that were in the yard. One was a persimmon tree that the horses had damaged, it was still producing persimmons but the tree was in bad shape. Anyway my neighbor just got 3 baby rabbits so I took a persimmon over to them and they went nuts over it. Wonder if they fish would eat it?

My fish love pumpkin too, I cook up some of the flesh and put it in a feeding cone for them to suck out ... they go crazy over it. B)

I don't know about my goldie liking pumpkin, I never thought about trying it. But I do know the squirrels around my house go crazy for it. When we carved pumpkins for Halloween, we left the insides in a box out back on our patio and the squirrels would come up and eat the seeds. Well within about 2 days the carved pumpkins on our front stoop would come up with missing chunks. We could only figure the squirrels decided they really like pumpkin.

I haven't tried pumpkin yet but I gave them a small piece of avacado the other day and they spit it out.
