can gf have broccoli? I know dogs can't have it, it makes them have an upset tummy because there's somthing in it that they can't digest.

I feed my goldfish broccoli ... they like the little buds cut off (raw) and put in a feeding ring for them to eat. I also put it in gel food.

I also like to steam a flowerette just until it is tender and hang it by its stem in a clip. They love to rip and tear the little buds off and devour them. I have never senn any bad side effects from broccoli!

My gf likes cooked broccoli flouretts, but they can get too messy so I don't feed my fish broccoli very often, but I am sure that it would be a lot less messy if it was added to gel food.

I was shocked at how much protein veggies have. The veggie protein isn't as digestable tho and doesn't have the right amounts/combination of the essential amino acids. That's why vegatarians have to combine foods to get complete proteins. I'm thinking about splitting out the meat and veggie proteins when I do the breakout on gel foods, cuz the veggie protein makes them look higher protein than they really are cuz of the digestability aspect of it.
