Anyone know of any plants that my goldies won't think of as food the instant that they see it??? I tried java moss and they munched it down with gusto!

What kind of goldies? The single tailed ones are more adept to try munching any plants than the double tailed varieties I've been told.
I seem to be doing okay so far with java fern, anubias and african fern (bolbitis, is that how you spell it?) though they have yanked a few leaves off the cardinal plant (lobelia cardinalis). They haven't eaten anything yet, though I could just be lucky... *KOW*

I have a black moor, a lionhead, and a comet. And nope they all munch down like it's their last supper when it comes to java moss!!

Not sure if you'll be able to grow any then. Try some anubias, its very very tough, but they still might take chunks out of it.
Maybe give them some blanched zuchanni instead to distract them?

Crinums ("onion" plants), java ferns, and cryptocorynes are some that you might want to try.

Crinums should be planted so that about 2/3 of their bulb is above the gravel, java ferns attach to rocks or driftwood, and cryptocorynes are planted in the substrate just like a "regular" plant.

hornwort is a fast growing and tough plant.
java fern should work.. plus it'll work fine with low light.
I must have some well behaved goldies cuz I have about 15 types of plants in the goldie tank and they don't eat them. They do love the floating plants (duckweed, salvenia and frogbit), I put some of those in daily for them to eat.
You could also try pothos. It's the houseplant ivy but it can be grown underwater for several months before it gets unhappy.
