I really enjoyed those pictures Lozbug. Those are some beautiful plants. So far I've not had any luck with live plants. Yours are really healthly looking.

I think that's my biggest problem. Fish keep eating them. I threw some bulbs into the guppy tank and they are growing and doing fine. But, in the goldie tank forget it. I bought two fairly large amazon sword plants, I thought I read goldies don't care too much for them. Mine do, they've got them widdled down to nearly nothing.

they are dyed, but i'm sure if lozbug new she would'nt have bought them, unfortunetly tiger barbs are the latest victims of dyeing altough i'm sure it's illegal to sell them here. the problem with tropicals there is so many different fish comeing in so many different colours it makes it harder to know for sure if a batch of fish have been dyed

OMG!! Your right I did not know that!!!, yuck! i feel violated!!
They were just so pretty, i just got my tank and went to LFS, they caught my eye, this was all pre koko's too.... shant’ go to that shop again...
probably why they all died so quickly and with no obvious illness (except my last one who got ick).

yes there is natural green and albino but those barbs are not them, green tiger barbs have are darkish green in the belly area, and the albinos arent as pink as those in lozbugs pics , if you saw the natural and the dyed ones together you can tell a mile off.
