Is frozen food good for goldfish?
If so, what kind? I used to feed cichlids frozen brineshrimp when I kept cichlids. For goldfish, I'm thinking of frozen bloodworms..
Any suggestions? Is it better then normal food? (I'm just gonna feed them frozen foods as treats, will stay on pellets for the normal meal)

pea's have always been very good from what these guys on the board say. Also some spinach.. and fruits such as bannana's and apricots.

Frozen foods sucj as bloodworms, brine shrimp, krill, plankton, tubifex worms, and mysis shrimp, and mysquito larvae are all excellent foods.
My fish usually get fed frozen foods several times a week. I feed hikari brand since they are sterlized to prevent bacterial problems related to feeding normal frozen or live or freeze dried foods.

I feed my oranda Formula Foods spirulina enriched frozen a couple of times week and he loves it! Says it is good for all omnivorous tropicals, but doesn't seem to hurt my goldie. It has brine shrimp, krill, etc, with spirulina and a gel binder. I have also fed him straight frozen brine shrimp, and he likes that too. I also feed freeze dried Hikari blood worms and daphnia. The more variety, the better, I think!
