Hi Friends,

Re. The Breeding, please read the below, which i find somewhere:

1. Sometimes if a single male and female are introduced, they will not breed. Other fish, like livebearers, killifish, and polygamous cichlids need more females so that females are not harassed by amorous males.

2. Need more male for one female, so that the female will be pushed more by the males.

3. Keep only one pair in a tank, so that they will get privacy and more easy to breed.

please tell me your comments

I prefer to have more than one male for one female. From my experience, the fertility rate is much higher with 2 male. exactly.gif

I agree even though my males don't seem interested in breeding its better to have 2 males to one female biggrin.gif

I will buy one more male GF.

But somebody suggesting to keep the male seperate from female for some time, so that they will be prepared for breeding (white pimples will appear). is that right?
