I was in Petsmart today and I see a sticker on the shelf that says crowtnail male bettas $3.79. I couldn't believe it! I looked at my husband and said if these are crowntails, I'm getting one! Found 2 that look great, no signs of finrot anywhere (now if I can keep them that way!
So I now have them each in a 1 gal tank. I hate these things, it's what I had my other boys in before they went into their current kingdoms. Only this time around, I know a bit more and can hopefully keep the dreaded rot at bay. Along with the other nasties.
They've even eaten already! A few frozen bloodworms and a couple frozen brine shrimp. I didn't want to overdo it.
One is very active, the other I think may be a bit stressed. He's kind of mopeing, hopefully he perks up in a few days.
I'm working on pics. I borrowed my neighbor's digital, so she's gonna download them and email them to me. Now I need to figure out how to post pics on the board!
