biggrin.gif hi hamstaman
neons are very sensitive to water problems. how about 5 glowlights, and 5 lemon tetras.
all that you would need is gravel and light and a few well positioned plants.

Hiya,

i have tetra (listed in sig.) Lemon's are reccomended for beginners. good luck.
Black oranda
smile.gif I hade black tetras, they lasted for about 7 years and they
were VERY hardy fish ,they did very well.
I hade tiber barbs i think you call them...I had 3 with the Black tetras.

Neons are very sensitive fish.So you have to watch the water levels
and make sure the temp is right.

Anyway good luck,

if your tank is new I wouldn't add neons just yet. ill just put 5 gowlights or lemons and wait for 2-4 weeks before adding them.
Neons are not hard to keep. As long as your tank's cycled and you don't overfeed they'll live a happy long life.

I find tetras very hardy. they need groups of 6 or so to be happy.
