went to lfs today to cheer myself up.
got 4 black widow tetras, 4 lemon tetras, two congo tetras and two female fighters.

yes bo i got my 32 gallon for tropicals now and my 16 for my two fantails (uk). now i have a male betta and two females. 3 lemon pencils, 4 wcmm, pair of kribs, and the others listed above. one of the new females died after two hours, not impressed as she was a nice blue one.
so loz, what did you buy today?
pearlscale fan i know which tetras you mean as they have lovely flowing rainbow effect finnage but maybe these were sold wrong as they only have short fins.?

Just out of interest, what is dropsy?

dropsy is a symptom of a bacterial infection. it gives the fish the effect of a pine cone, when the scales stand out from the body. if caught early theres a good chance of recovery but its only 12% so the death rate is high. its very contagious so the fish should be put in a seperate tank but i dont have a spare one so i have seperated him using a divider. i am going to use interpets number 6, which i successfuly used on leila though she sadly didnt fully recover.
