Today I put a chunk of cucumber in for my now famous snail, "Chewbaca" and her little boyfriend whom I've actually named, "Boyfriend." Well I watched Chewy slime down to the cuke right away and begin to devour it. Then I looked over to see the other snail sliming over and wait, the OTHER snail WAS Chewy. The first snail I noticed was Boyfriend. Boyfriend has gotten so big I mistaked him for Chewy. BOYFRIEND IS ALMOST AS BIG AS CHEWY NOW. unreal. I actually mixed them up.

I know Devs is out there cracking up at this.

It's not funny. Chewy was riding the bubble wall up to the top today and she sorta fell out of the stream and started free falling. She almost landed on my calico oranda (we're talking a 4+ inch fish) and I'm sittin the couch like, "Look out, don't let Chewbaca land on you!!!!!!!!!!!! She might eat you!" :duck

The last time I saw the Boyfriend,he was twice as small as Chewey!!!! Has he been nibbling on the Pro-gold????If those guys don't quit growing,you may have to invest in a tank of their own!!!!!! So where does the actual 3rd snail that I bought you fit in size wise??? Do they let him eat,or did they eat him??????

The 3rd snail, my original snail, is in a 5 gallon with 2 baby goldies. He is about 1/3 to 1/4 of the size of Chewy. I put that snail in w/ the babies b/c they missed a lot of food that fell between the gravel. So you know he's still small if he's in a 5 gallon hex w/ 2 goldies.

How big can snails get? If I do get a bigger tank I might get one...I'm still thinking about it, I have heard good and bad things about them. I like your story!

blueangel this aren't your normal small - Heather lives near a power plant and they were mutated! One of these days we will see it on the national news that they snails have taken over her small town and are headed toward New York and anything in their path had better head for the hills. Look out J they are coming for you to play peek-a-boo!

Oh my god, people are gonna believe you!!!! Chewy is a perfectly normal snail. I'm not sure how big they get, crap, I'm gonna have to look that up. Blueangel, I don't know if you've been following the WHOLE Chewy saga...read the post "I've been duped" by Devs, my mama.

OK - Now I know she's not leaving any snails with me when she comes for a visit!!!! Wow - 2 gigantic snails??
