My sister was telling me she was moving and she had to move her fish. she has about four fancy just orange goldfish. one is five years old hes the biggest. they youngest is cali. anyhows when she was moving this weekend from her old place her husband mistakingly left her bucket with them at the old place when they remembered it was terrible hot for them. when they got there there two silver dollars were laying on the bottom. they thought they died so they moved them abit and they came alive. then when they got back in there 55 gallon they noticed the silver dollars were almost black. can someone tell me whats wrong with them for her. she doesnt haver internet so i have to help in some way...

it sounds like it could be ammonia burns. I haven't had silver dollars, but most times black on another colored fish means that they got burns from chemicals (ammonia, nitrite). Especially since they were left in a bucket for how long?
Also, please tell me the goldfish and the silver dollars aren't in the same tank.
If they are, they really need to relocate them to another tank. Not going to go into a major lecture, but Silver Dollars are a type of cichlid and require vastly different water chemistry and temperatures than the goldfish are comfortable with. Not to mention the food, filtering, etc.
