i got my bettas about a month ago and all they friggin do is sit and do nothing! i got them to breed them and for relaxation. tell ya what, NOT HELPING! i have got nowhere! they wont move, they wont make a bubble nest so no babies possible yet, all they do is eat and sit. BORING! the girls are ok, whats the hells the guys problems!? ok, amy, just like it said in the book....... deep breaths in......... and out........

Are you sure your betta is just depressed? Other then your fishie being looking depressed, is he physically healthy? Well, I can't remember where I read it from, but if it's just depression from what I understand, there isn't really much you can do except make sure the water is clean and p.h. level is right, etc.. Supposidly, the fish should come out of it on its own. I did alot of reading before I bought my Cassy. Maybe little too much. lol But in alot of cases, the water was where the problem layed. ^_^ Hope your fishie feels better soon!

Hey hon-been working so don't know what other posts you may have done.What kind of tanks/containers are your boys in? Do you have heaters on any of them? Alot of times,when bettas are in colder water,they will just "sit/eat. Just a thought.....
