I moved my betta to the new tank (10 gallon) and it has finrot. It hasent ended, it had finrot in the 2.5 gallon tank but now it has gone worse. I know it is stressful for the betta because of its new environment, but I do not know what to do. There is medicine but what is a good product? Or will the finrot go away after a while?

When should I clean the tank?, should I do 10% water changes a week? (It hasent been week when I put the betta in)

it will heal on its own if you just keep the water clean. You can use the bit of melafix i'll give you on the weekend looool...

In my experience you have to be very very very careful with melafix & bettas. The last time I used it it actually accelerated the rot. I'm not sure why but other members here & on other boards have noticed it as well.

I hope the really pristine water will do the trick!!
