Okay, so the water on my 25 gallon tank turned green after treating my fish for parasites. Nothing else changed, not the lighting or any other chemical use other than the parasite clear. Now the water is fogged with green, and I'm assuming it's algae but don't know a safe way to get rid of it without harming or moving my snails. Is there a chemical, or maybe a fish I can buy that will stay well with my goldies and clear the algae?

You could get some daphnia and put them in a breeder net. They love to eat algae. plus you can also feed them to your goldies. I ordered mine from Dallas Discus and still have several daphnia cultures going since the fish like them so much.
I had pea soup once. I did a very large partial water change and cut down on the lighting and it went away.

When you treated your fish for parasites you most likely killed numerous beneficial species that inhabited your tank.
Most meds are indiscriminate killers. They will normally kill the parasite but also kill the beneficial bacteria that our tanks rely on.
If it was clear before it should clear up in the future when the bacteria has a chance to reproduce again.
Just take it easy on the feeding.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. I tried large water changes and less lighting...nothing seems to work because of the tank placement I think, but I'll definately try some daphnia if I can get my hands on any
