Full Version: Does A Madagascar Lace Bloom?

I noticed yesterday on my newly aquired madagascar lace that she has an extra long stem coming out of the center of the plant, and this morning that stem has reached the surface of the water. I wonder if it blooms, it looks really cool....smile.gif

Well, I've never actually seen one but that's what its doing. I'm not sure what it will look like though, most Apon's generally have a sort of stem with nubby little things on the end, not what you'd generally think of as a "flower". I guess you'll just have to wait and see (and post pictures)....

Those nubby little things have appeared now, Myai, and it really looks funny. It reminds me somewhat of the blooms of some of those exotic orchids, purplish-white in color.
