I can't believe the colors of plastic plants I found today at nnnnnn!
Not the normal Pink, Blue, Green, Yellow, Purple...
(The unnatural colors of the fishie world I guess. rolleyes.gif )

But what REALLY caught my eye were these pink, blue and green plants. I looked at what they were called, and it said "Glow in the Dark Plants." They must be a new product or something... I knew they would keep my fish up, but all the same, I'm thinking about them for my guppy tank ignore.gif

If they strike your fancy - go for it!

Have you ever seen pictures of what scientists have calculated various colors look like to different creatures? To some insects, various flowers "glow" in colors we cannot percieve. Certain birds and mammals also can percieve colors in quite a different fashion than we do.

So, who knows - maybe your fish would truly enjoy those glow in the dark plants! lol.GIF

Glow-in-the-dark plants shouldn't keep your fish up at night, since after the lights are turned off it will only glow for a certain period of time, then fade for the night. After the lights are turned on again they'll get "charged up" to glow again the next night. (One of the walls in my room has glow-in-the-dark moon and stars on it, and after the lights are turned off they only glow for 1/2 an hour or so. It'll probably be similar with the plants.) smile.gif

Lol... now I'm going to get them for the guppy tanks!

Now what am I going to do? The world is coming to an end!
