I am planning to get a 10 gallong tank for my betta when should I clean it, what type of accessories should I also get and how should I set it up.

Hamsta,Hamsta!! How are you?? Haven't talked to you in ages!! If I were you,I'd get an Aquaclear mini filter,or something similar,and definately a heater.Skip any sharp ornaments ,plants,etc,that can hurt him. Also ,my betta's seem to love something that they can sit under. I have a couple rocks,and bridge type ornaments,and they all sleep under them. Sometimes that's a way for them to get out of the current too.! Put a silk plant or two in there also,and he'll think that he's in "Betta Heaven"

Isn't that something more to a personal taste hamstaman? I figure heck, it's your fish set it up how you want

Lots of plants should make him feel safe in such a big area.
My bettas love caves! they sleep in them ect.

You could get a divider for your 10gallon and have 2 bettas but anyway... have loads of nice bushy plants in there bettas love to rest and lay in them like a butterfly, they look so pretty make sure you have a lid on your tank because there good jumpers B) and then the basics like a filter and heater..

Bettas are picky about their "room" size. Some aren't happy in that much room - so give him plenty of places to hide. I have a divider in my 10 gallon and have 2 bettas. I need to get them caves and plants.....

Mine loves sleeping in a house or bowl. Plants to rest on are nice.
