....Marble Hatchet fish? Those things I saw for the first time a few days ago, and at first glance they looked like leaves swimming on top of the tank. By closer inspection I found out - they are fish!! Of course, I got 2 for my tropicals tank, and from the store owner's advice, they just eat plain tropical flakes...Anybody can confirm that?....

Hi Andrea!!! I had a couple of those a long time ago,and that's all I knew to feed at that time. If I recall right, they got to be a nice size!!

I've seen those...
I'm not sure what they eat, I think flakes would be fine. I would check on the web, of course

Yeah, slim. Sort of like an angelfish, even thinner.
Daryl, that store I am going to is pretty neat, so I go there once a week when they get new fish. They are also the only place I can get mossballs locally...

They like to jump and need good clean water, that's about all I've heard to worry about with them. No special food or anything, just keep the tank covered and do your water changes.

They are beautiful and delicate. They are actually a type of flying fish so keep a tight lid on that tank! They are also like tetras in that they need to school, so get more than two. Good luck with them, they are beautiful and unusual fish.
