I'm sorry to be starting another thread about this but here are some pics & when I checked in on him today he looks like he has ich. (I also wrote about this on the other thread but I think I need some advice ASAP & I thought this would be easier!)

Now I am truely lost. What do I do???

I have Quick Cure so I can start that ASAP BUT I already have the Maracyn's in there & the rot looks terrible.

(HIs back fin was more white & filled in almost completely on Wed AM - you can see how much has already gone.

THose white dots on his heaD aren't air bubbles - I think they're ich - HELP!

to be quite honest with you, it doesnt look too much like ich. maybe some stuff caught in his slime coat, thats all.

have you seen ich firsthand before? up close, you can see that it is a white, salt like grain on the end of a little stalk. it looks to be sort of suspended in mid air just above the slimecoat. anyway, the spots are also very iniform in size.

is he flashing or scratching?

how many spots do you actually see on him? its kinda hard to tell from the pics.

To be honest with you I didn't think it looked like ich but they are distinct white spots - but they look too fine to be ich to me (I've had it with my goldies before & I know what it looks like)

On the other hand I know he's really stressed out.

What do you think??

Well ich is caused by your little guy being stressed... I know thats what my little guy had, but really im not to clear with what ich looks like, it can very well be what fisharenewtome said, to be really sure that it is ich.. (cuz you never want to treat them for something that it isnt) was check and see, (watch is activity for a bit) and see if he itches himself on the gravel, hide under them ect.., sorry i am noy more help, but thats all i can tell you about it for now too.. you may want to read Ich (whitespot) and see if that helps you at all. Also take a look at the picture attached within that thread.
