Seriously... this pic is not up to my normal standards... As some of you know, my camera is broken and in the shop... Well, this is my mother's camera, and it's crippled as well. No flash, which means I have to take very long exposures and a lot of the photos turn out blurry. Gah. Anyway.... hopefully you can see what it is I'm trying to show here.

The fry on the left is about 6 weeks old now. It is devoid of all color save an irridescent streak of sky blue along its body. The tail is totally colorless. The fry on the left is around 4 weeks old now, and obviously a half black yellow. They are both from the same mother. I am seriously confused why the older fry are lacking color while the younger one is so clearly yellow-finned. My only guess is that they have different fathers. However... I still don't know what color the older ones are/will be!

Editted to say, I realize the belly on the half black yellow is bloated. I'm not sure why. That just started today.

These guppies Hun?

If so guppies can hold male sperm (get this for up to 3males worth) so this could be two males. so the colors will be different Hun. I see this all the time in my hubbies guppies. I will see a batch that will be half black bodies, the the other half will be yellows ohmy.gif

Unless you have a direct line of guppies its hard to get the same color all the time biggrin.gif
