I'm going out of state for 8 days next month. I have a tank with 3 guppies, 2 tetras and 1 little bottom feeder. Can someone tell me how long they can go without food. I'm trying to plan for their care. I know my goldies can for 8 days without food but not sure about these little guys. Thanks.

I wouldn't worry about it just feed them as you would..and if you'd like turn off the light while your gone, slows down there metabolism, they should be fine

Just feed em well before you go and they should be fine...maybe a few live plants for nibbles

Thanks, I'll try not to worry too much about them then. But I would like to ask about the light. There is absolutely no light in my kitchen. No window to open so when the kitchen light is out it is very dark. Is it still a good idea to turn off the aquarium light while I'm gone?
