From what i know, the life cycle of the ick is very short. After the adult Ink had drop for the host, the egg or the baby ink will look for a new host.If my GF was looking for food during this time, will the baby or egg get into the inner part of the GF's body? Will it cause any harm?

Your fishy should be fine as long as your treating the ick smile.gif , however, I don't know what will happen to the gf if you leave the ick untreated. There are many meds that will get rid of ick. I reccommend Sera Costapur. It works in two days. Good luck with your fishies.
