*sigh* this saga refuses to end. as well as being severely depressed, bielzibub has velvet. when i look at him at a certain angle i can see a gold sheen. i have heard of a good remedy but i have to get it off the internet and i think my parents are getting a bit cheesed off with me using their credit cards more than they do. im about to put in some salt to the water but is there anything i can do to get rid of it, a salt dip, methane blue?

Don't use salt as it'll just irritate their slimecoat.

Are you sure it's velvet? Are you seeing darting and attempting to scratch itself? Is your betta lethargic? Is he breathing rapidly? (Check his gills movement.) Is he still eating?

If you are sure its velvet, I would go ahead and use RidIch+ as it is pretty mild and well tolerant. Dose everyday as per instructions, and change his 25% of his water before new dosage is added to aid in oxygenation. Also, I would add an airstone as medicated water holds less oxygen.

im keeping my room as warm as i can at the moment and since im ill its kinda working out quite well! lol.GIF i think bielzibub is gradually becoming more active but gabriel still sits under the plant and very rarely moves. im just about to do a water change and see what effect that has. it worked for hades. blew a bubble nest the next day! lol.
