Hi all, I have a 50 litre tank that had goldfish in it, the goldfish have all died and I would like to put a Betta in it.

How should I clean/dissenfect the tank, filter, gravel ect? I think there was a problem with bacterial infection in the goldfish tank. I posted on the disease/diagnosis messageboard Sept 29, "Long term problems, whats wrong with this tank?".

Thanks for your help.

For the Gravel You can boil it and then set it out in the sun to dry to sterilize it. For the tank you can use Vinegar to clean it and make sure to rinse it real well and let that dry in the sun to disinfect it. And I did the same with my filter...I took it apart and cleaned the whole thing with vinegar and rinsed it real well then let the sun hit it and let it dry in the sun.

With a 50 litres/12.5gal you can Get a Divider and keep 2 bettas in it if you want
