Hi, my baby fish... well their feeder fish (thats like goldfish right?) well they were suposst to be food for my brothers turtle Thud.gif but i couldn't bear to letr my mom do that... So i got these baby fish and i put them in my big tank 50gal with my other goldfish but they were so small i was afriad that my big guy horus would eat them so i transfered them to a 10gal tank that i used as a breeder tank for my bettas and now they have a lot of little white spots on them so i thought it was ick and changed 40% of the water and put in a ick tab(little alka selzer looking thing) and a parisite tab but now one died and he was practicly covered in the white spots HELP BEFORE I LOSE MY OTHER FISH the poor thing lost his friend already now im afriad scoba sam is going to die.. cry3.gif help please.

I wish I was an expert !!! I am so sorry about your little fish. Alot of people that I know have always been unsure about "white spots." I also am not sure if it was ick or not. Did you compare the pictures ? And how were your water levels in the 10 gal ?

Ick will look like little salt grains over the entire body(see
attached pic).

I had success using a product called Rid-Ich by Kordon, I
got it at Petco. Remove all the carbon out of your tank and
follow directions(for smaller fish use a smaller dose). Turn
off the tank lights and cover the tank with a towel. Yes, turn
up the heater to around 80*f. Every 3rd day syphon the bottom
for eggs. Leave everyone in the tank and treat them all. Use of
aquarium salt? varies from person to person.

As what PM94 say,rid-ick really work for me.Within one day all the white spot is gone but i still let the medication sleep around for a few day to play safe.Well maybe you should try

I tried the towel and i put more salt ( not regulr kind lol) but i couldn't go out to get rid-ick my parents wern't home but it didn't stop poor baby hummer from dieing cry3.gif but it was clearing up but his back fin was starting to get fin rot and i think he just couldn't take that his friend died cry3.gif
