Hey, I went to Petsmart on Saturday and bought 2 new Bettas. They restock on Fridays so they had many to chose from. The employees always get ticked off at me cuz I pull all the cups out and set them all over so I can see all the fish, I always put everything back so I don't know what the problem is. Some moron dumped 2 together and the one had just about tore all the fins off the other. I said something to the girl working there and she said it happens all the time, mostly teenage boys who think it's funny. She took the two in the back and put them in some medicated water.

Anyways, I found two I really like and now they live in a divided ten gallon tank. I've named them Tabu and Pisces. Pisces anal fin was a little torn but it looks to be healing and he is such a pretty color I just had to get him. Tabu is an awesome color, I've never seen one like him before. Even the woman who worked at Petsmart said she was temped to take Tabu when she was unpacking the Bettas, I'm glad she didn't .

wow! those are two beautiful new fish you got there! i was JUST looking at a fish like tabu this morning - i saw him on a website. he was green bodied with orange fins - i want one!! not fair!! lolol

seahorse Martinez is right -Your fish are awesome!!! I have seen one somewhat colored as Tabu,but only once,and that was before I started getting into them. Pices is also quite the looker!!! Loved the names too!!! I almost named my Moor Tabu!!!! He ended up being "Dre" instead. Good luck with your new boys!!!
