I did it with a 25 gallon (but the parents ate the fry and only one survived and I had her four years and she died recently cry3.gif ) Plant the tank with a few anubias nanas ( one in each corner) and use a sponge filter ( also, feed them bloodworms once the fry have hatched. It is supposed to prevent them from eating the fry, I should have done that! ) Youre definately gonna need a few tall plants so the female can hide if she gets tired. Also if you buy a 80 gallon tank you can try breeding perlies 8 at a time (they are more than happy to breed in a group. gudluksn.gif

oh, I forgot. Use a food bag and put ice in it and do a 30% water change (and dont replace all the water you took out) Then put the food bag in the tank ( the cold temp often triggers them to breed) The food bag is to stop the icy water getting into your tank.

i breed my lionhead black goldfish with a fantail calico goldfish and all i did was that i left the fish tank light on for a few days and feed them three times a day and check the ph balance everyday and have plenty of plants around . and they laid lots of eggs and just now hatching good luck! gudluksn.gif :goldfish
