For those of you who don't have adjustable tank temps, and sometimes have to put ice cubes in the tank to cool it down...

I thought of an idea. It cools and feeds your fish all at the same time!

Start out with fruits and veggies that your fish like. Oranges, Grapes, Peas, Lettuce, Peaches (etc)

Cut them into EXTREMELY small bits. Get an ice cube tray. Add water and the bits. Freeze.

Put these in the tank. They will melt slowly, letting out little bits of food. I haven't tried these yet, but I think I will. They seem good for big goldies and koi...

Thats a funny idea, yet effective! You could probably fill those cubes with anything - frozen bloodworms, even pelleted food....

LOL... Why thank you.

I haven't tried this yet... Maybe tomorrow I'll try.
Tomorrow I move some of the fishies into their new tank - they got shrimp as a treat tonight (lol)

I may put some of those into an ice cube - they will like that!
