<_< sorry, dont know much about pacus, only that they come from the same family as pirahna, but are vegetarian. having said that there was an incident at a butterfly farm in edinburgh, where a little girl had her finger badly bitten by one. she didnt put her finger in, but the fish jumped out at her.

i have only seen these fish with their own kind so i dont know if it would work. unsure.gif
Black oranda
Id have to say no.... you shouldn;t be mixing those kinds of fish togther. But for such a large aquarium id love to fill it up with goldies.

spit.gif even at 300 gallons 4 red belly pacus that is a lot of fish. have you ever seen a grown pacu?a foot tall 2 feet long. they grow at an incredible rate, you can almost see them grow. the pacu is a tropical fish goldfish are not. pacus are also omnivores. they eat anything it can. i would have to say this is a bad mix. common glodfish can swim fast enough but want colder water. fancy goldfish like a little warmer water but swim to slow. :goldfish
