I recently got a (slightly) used Top Fin 55 gallon tank and stand. When we moved the stand, my husband lifted it from the top and it came apart. I have the tank sitting on it empty in my garage but the stand seems really unstable and wobbly. No way would I trust a full tank on it. If it got bumped I think it would fall over.

Ive been sick so I havent been able to really go in and fix it but does anyone have experience with this stand? It seems to be one that you build yourself, like a cheap entertainment unit. My friend has had her tank on it for a couple years with no problem but Im a little wary. unsure.gif

I have one in my 29g setup... it's been standing for more than a year now. I was also worried that it might be too fragile but it has been designed to bear the weight of a full tank. Try to fill it up once, you will see it becomes more stable once it has the weight of the water.

(I still get worried when babies go near the tank because I am afraid they might pull the legs of the stand and tip it over)
